I learned my "the universe is just out to get me" thinking on Husker football...might...might...be taking a turn for the positive. Legit thought we were going to absolutely blow this game, 100% thought "s#!t!!"...but we made plays, something we obviously lacked over the years, even the O showed, at least for me, some "structure" overall (minus the TO's), they just seemed more intentional.

100% could be a bi-product of Illinois being s#!tty...but it seemed more than just that, which is a good thing.

For the past 5 years under Frost, teams played for NU to make the mistakes which cost NU the games. Now, tonight, NU relied on the other team making mistakes.

I agree that NU didn’t play well, but NU won. That’s all I care about.
