Matty Ice, it's guys like you with their wink and a nod, "What's wrong with a little nonconference action now and then?" attitudes that egg the weaker souls like BigRedBuster into jumping the fence and seeing if the turf is really greener on the other side.
You think someone getting a little tailgating on the side is okay, as long as he is discreet and ducks his head when the Jumbotron tries to pan in on him...and no, NOT EVERYBODY DOES IT! There are fans that have been loyal for 50-60 years and would never think of jumping into some strange team's skybox...EVER!
Well I got news for you, Bud: It's not okay! Commitment is a two way street. One of these days, BigRedBuster is going to show up at Memorial Field to find out that the Huskers have moved on without him. They will have found someone else was willing to spend time with all the Redshirt freshman...HIS Redshirt freshman...someone committed to being a REAL fan, not some phony who is looking at his watch and trying to sneak out at the end of the 3rd quarter to hook up with any other team who will let him have his wave with them just because he has a scalped ticket and a knock off jersey.
