In which Ulty challenges Ric Flair to a battle of wits. For rep points.

Who the f#&% is Ulty?

Posed Question:

Why should anyone look at or care about rep points on a message board?

It's funny that you can make up any reward and people will chase after it. It works on social media, works on message boards.  I don't know why we're susceptible to these things, but humans will chase after rep or karma or whatever as if they have actual value. Maybe they raise our dopamine levels or something.

Definitely raise dopamine levels, as well as lead us into a suggestible addictive sort of compulsion, as well as play into our base drives for affirmation to signify that we are safe in the middle of the social group.

Now @Ulty, would you agree with that? And do you think Ric Flair would?

Absolutely. The whole concept is very psychological and sociological in nature.

I'm certain Ric Flair would agree. After all, he often complains about the lack of friendly voices on his side of the aisle and lashes out at the rest of us when he feels lonely.

I'm still drunk off of the post where I got +50 a couple weeks ago. They almost threw me out of the NICU; I was slurring my words.
