Um what the hell it is late here about 3:24 am Central Time and this thought came to me. Do we need the Big 12? Could we survive as an Independent like ND? I mean we are rich enough in tradition to be out there with the likes of Army, Navy, and the Irish. We could schedule most of the Big 12 Teams just like ND does with the Big 10 (11).
I mean is there a point in having a conference this early in the game? There is no requirement to be in a conf by the NCAA and until there is we should selfishly keep all our earnings to our team/university dont you think? What do we gain from beating ourselves up each year when the game is about winning always has been and always will be. Until conferences are standardized and structured I say the hell with em.' We can go on winning and winning big and easy. Any thoughts cause I am piss a$$ tired?
