So Bolsonaro learned from Trump that he needed to be outside the country to avoid conviction. 

Well at least we got Bannon caught and into custody so that he can't continue to influence others ..... wait ....

If I had to guess... It's because Brazil has been corrupt for sometime now, but it's also a nation rich in natural resources, scenic places, and culture. It's prime opportunity to f#&% s#!t up and claim a major stake in the new leadership when the dust settles. Great time to position yourself to become a Brazilian Oligarch if things roll the right way.

You can extrapolate that over the entire world.  Fascism is nothing more than a power grab to line the pockets of the oligarchs and those in power yet they couch it in populism because their followers are to naive to see it coming until it's too late.  The playbook is so obvious and right in front of us but still it continues.
