Interesting Denver Post Article

Ya know, I like ours better as far as where it is an how it looks in it's surroundings.

That screen is huge, but kinda looks out of place in that endzone. At least in that picture.
:yeah

The addition in the North EZ looks like it was there all along. Great job blending the old with the new.

I hope a tornado doesn't go through Austin because it looks like they slapped it on a couple of fence posts and plugged it in. Ours is somewhat built into the stadium. Regardless both screens are HUGE. Each year someone will build a bigger one until you need to be in the blimp to make out the picture.

Pretty sure it's done.

I know it's been tested and running.

the way i see it is UT realized "oh noes! NEBRASKA is gonna have something we dont!"

so they just rushed through getting a bigger screen up as fast as possible, with little or no concern to the asthetics and surroundings.
I like the fireworks stand up top

Texass screen: 134x55 = 7370

A&M screen: 74x54 = 3996

Nebraska screen: 118x34 = 4012 plus two more screens of 504 each. Total = 5020

At the time of installation, the new instant replay screen in North Stadium will be the largest screen in any college stadium in the United States, measuring 33’ 7 3/16" high by 117’ 7 1/8’ wide
Call it 33'8" by 117 by 8"...so 33.7 by 117.7= 3966.49

I just went off of your measurements for A&M's. But when I looked it up, I only see 3954 for the total.

Wow, there are so many things wrong with that article it's not even funny. I just can't wait until NE can get on the field and prove whats happening here. There's no doubt in my mind that they'll win the Big 12 North, and that will be enough for me, (for now.) This guy makes it seem like a long shot that that will even happen. :w00t

"What you don't mention here is that was the worst Kansas State team in 15 years, Colorado essentially quit after the Iowa State game and Michigan was the worst team in 20 years," said Bill Doleman, a former talk- show host for Lincoln radio station KLMS/ESPN. "I think there's a sense of security that may be a false sense of security as to just where the program is at."
Yeah here ya go excuses from a damn ESPN moron!!!! Imagine that!!!! We'll just see how you feel at the end of this year Bill DICKman!!!! :restore
the discrepancy with Michigan is amazing. when talking about their chances this year, people say "well they lost a lot of games in the regular season last year but they played the toughest schedule and lost by only a few points to some highly ranked teams..."

but in relation to Nebraska "they were Michigan's worst team in the last 20 years".

and its what they "don't mention", Doleman?

Is the Ohio U. coaches show looking for a host?
