1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation?
I believe "Husker Nation" is a phrase that Steve Pedersen dreamed up when starting the stadiums fund raising campaign in 2003. I think it's his sorry appraoach to starting a new tradition. However, I have been a die-hard fan since I can remember watching my first games in the late 80's/early 90's.

Option! The red and white freight train!
13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne?
Lots of success and good memories under Bill Byrne. Steve Pederson seems arrogant and has made many bad decisions (IMO).

Old version of Herbie. The new berbie looks like a frickin lumber jack! Lil' Red is a fricken blow up doll, give me a break!

1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation?
Since birth in 1958. My mom was pregant with me in the fall, so I probably heard my first game in utero.
2) What/who led you to The Nation?
Native son
3) Where are you from originally?
Beatrice
4) Where do you live now?
Detroit
5) Favorite Husker memory?
Probably being in the stadium as a student in 1978 when Osborne got his first win against Oklahoma, 17-14. OU was ranked No. 1 coming in.
Also got a sideline pass for the 2001 Iowa State game, so was on the field for one of my favorite game rituals: The players running through the band as it plays "Hail Varsity." And I was about five yards from the end zone pylon when Crouch smashed an ISU defender and scored a touchdown that set the NCAA career record for rushing TDs by a QB.
6) Worst Husker memory?
Colorado game in '01. It's never been the same since.
7) Number of home games attended?
34
8) Number of away games attended?
Seven, including both Alamo Bowls
9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel?
Shirt from after '94 season, when the team slogan was "Unfinished Business" because they came a field goal short of winning the national championship the year before against Florida State. The "Un" is crossed out, so it's "finished business."
10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.)
Anywhere in Memorial Stadium
11) Favorite all time player?
Tommy Frazier or Johnny Rodgers
12) WCO or Option?
The offense that works for its time.
13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne?
Neither
14) Lil Red or Herbie Husker?
Herbie!! He's a Nebraska boy.
15) Favorite Husker play?
That sweep pitch to the I back was sweet for so long ... and Schlessinger scoring twice on the same play against Miami in the '95 Orange Bowl (end of '94 season), running right by a worn-out Warren Sapp.
