Grew up in Nebraska and in football crazy town...Never had a chance to become something else thank goodness!!!

Stromsburg, Nebraska...home of the Vikings, now Cross County Cougars

4) Where do you live now?

The hell that is Iowa - okoboji to be specific

5) Favorite Husker memory?

94 national championship game when we finally buried the ghosts of the orange bowl once and for all.

6) Worst Husker memory?

The day brook berringer died; Last year cuz all my so called Hawkeye “friends” would not shut up after the Texas Tech massacre.

unfortunately just 2

8) Number of away games attended?

2---sad that i’ve been to as many away games as home games

signed tom osborne nu mini helmet from 97 autograph day, before we knew it was the last year for the good doctor.

any place where members of the chozen people are gathered to cheer the huskers on to a win

tough call cuz there’s been so many over the years... loved broderick sandman thomas as a kid, but probably in the end its touchdown tommie frazier

Steve P no doubt about it for having the courage to can solich during the 10-3 mirage of a season and making a very respectable hire in Callahan. Old Dollar Bill flat out priced the common fan out of the stadium.

Herbie all the way. lil red is the most abominable thing on the planet...next to herky hawkeye that is.

option pass. when properly executed the play worked wonders.

1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation?

- Just joined this afternoon. I've been a Husker fan since before Bob Devaney. I have vivid memories of listening to Husker games early on and the excitement that came with Bob Devaney's arrival and eventual success. I can still recall attending the NU-Texas game in Lincoln in 1959. My Dad and I sat in the "knothole" section! It's been a great ride ever since.

2) What/who led you to The Nation?

- Actually, I was looking for some icons and ran across the site.

3) Where are you from originally?

- Grew up in Auburn, NE

4) Where do you live now?

- Colorado Springs, CO - (It's fun to have the Husker stickers on the car this year!)

5) Favorite Husker memory?

- Watching the NU-OU classic in '71. When Johnny R. took off on that famous punt return and scored, I jumped up and smacked my head on the ceiling in our basement TV room! I still get goosebumps watching that run.

6) Worst Husker memory?

- Attending the NU-CU game in 2001 (62-36). I've never been treated so poorly at a football game. That's the difference between a program that is used to winning and a program that doesn't understand winning. The CU administration, students, fans and alumni are all pathetic.

7) Number of home games attended?

- Too many to count.

8) Number of away games attended?

- Somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40.

- Golf shirts

- My brother lives in Denver so we get together in his garage or my garage, smoke cigars, drink some beer and pace the floor. He's got a big screen set up in his garage. It's the PERFECT place to watch football.

- I loved the option but I didn't hesitate to embrace the WCO. Callahan knows what he's doing. It will only get better.

Hello HuskerNation! It is a pleasure to be able to read all your thoughts and all your hard work and dedication to The Big Red. I am born and raised from Fremont, Nebraska and reside at the moment in Germany for the military. Reading all the exciting information and stories you all provide here has kept my inner Big Red roots flowing. Which in turn keeps my spring, summer, fall and winter times always excited about my love for the Huskers and their new exciting football program. :lol: Which I do brag about them too much. I wish you all the very best, and keep up the good faith for our team as we turn the tide back to the dominate team we once had. I am getting transfered in March to enemy lines to Colorado. I will get to finally watch some games on television instead of listen at 2am on the computer. So this is very exciting for my family and myself to watch the games live, and to hear more about the HuskerNation and the momentum we will have for the upcoming years.
