My names Alex, I'm 18 yrs old, and I'm just starting to like the huskers. This upcoming season will be the first one where I really care about what happens. Figured getting on a forum would help me learn more about the current roster, maybe some history, and just get me more involved in whats going on. And I'm a huge Vikings fan, just thought I'd throw it out there.

5) Favorite Husker memory? Considering it hasn't been that long that I've really followed them, I did love the Suh pick 6, his performance against Texas this year, and the bowl game against Arizona (?)

6) Worst Husker memory? Losing to texas. that was the first game where i really cared about the huskers winning, and i had to follow the updates on my phone, then they kicked the field goal, i was actually pretty bummed about that.

1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation?Umm, probaby since I was in the 7th grade. So, roughly 10 years.

 

2) What/who led you to The Nation?

Tom Osborne football. I loved watching Frazier(the option offense), then later Crouch, and down right hard nosed defense. I loved the tradition I saw. Similar reasons why I became a Packer fan sooo long ago.

 

3) Where are you from originally?

Eastern Washington.

 

4) Where do you live now?

Now living about 30 minutes from Seattle.



5) Favorite Husker memory?

Wow, it's so hard to just choose a single moment.

 

6) Worst Husker memory?

The most recent one that still stains my memory is the 00:01 against Texas.

I'm such a frequent forum whore, I dont know why it took me so long to join a Husker board. But I'm on board now!

I've been following this site for a long time!! Joined a while ago, just haven't had much time. Excited to be posting!

5) Favorite Husker memory? Watching the Sker's make Warren Sapp puke on the sidelines.

6) Worst Husker memory? Had tickets in West Stadiam 50 yard line, Row A...yes that is the very front row. And watched Rickey Williams end the home winning streak. He stood right in front of me and flexed the entire time. I think I got a contact high!!

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? Have a poster Johnny the Jet that is signed by him, Rich Glover, Jerry Tagge, Dave Rimington, and a bunch of former greats.

1) I've been a member for 35 years

5) Favorite memory? Warren Sapp sucking oxygen during the Orange Bowl, Peyton Manning being used as a human speed bump, and "The Run".

6) Worst memory was the 83 Orange Bowl. Also the Clemson disaster and the BS Penn St out of bounds travesty.

8) My only away game was a couple of years ago against Wake Forest. Had a blast though.

9) My favorite piece of memorabilia is a program from the '88 Spring Game I attended with my Dad.

Ohio State fan here. Just dropping in to get some feedback / contribute some opinions on realignment and the apparent impending addition of Nebraska to the Big Ten.

Generally, my take is that most Big Ten fans will welcome the addition and be excited to have you on board. We're looking to strengthen our conference in a variety of ways and Nebraska certainly does that. Expansion likely wouldn't end with Nebraska, but may move to a second phase where we evaluate the moves other conferences make to react.

 
Hey folks.... Texas fan here. Like some others up above, I'm just interested in the apparent breakup of the Big 12. No disrespect to anyone, just wondering what folks think.
