Iowa Hate Week

Hoping we go with a bigger base D set like we did vs them last year. Would really like to see only two safeties and bring in an extra lineman or LB. No need to have 5 DBs against their rushing attack on 1st and 2nd down.

Yep, this is my hope.  Iowa having a bell cow RB and being more run based is good for the Nebraska D.  Even a pedestrian team like San Jose State that throws it all over the yard would make me nervous with how the secondary with injury woes has leaked a lot of yardage.

Actually, I am going to hold off on any trash talking because there is no doubt tat the Huskers will beat the Hawks badly this Friday night. Our 4th string QB against Dillon Ravioli is not even a contest. With our QB, the blackshirts will have thier way shutting down the running game. I am certain that you are all excited that the Huskers are back as they have put together the best season in recent memory and will be going to one of the 43 bowl games. The Hawks do not stand a chance.

SO happy that Nebraska got the bowl eligibly win done before this week. Pressure should be off the guys. The cloud is lifted. The sun is shining and the Cornhuskers can focus on pummeling Iowa. 

Iowa and Wisconsin have owned us for 10 years. It is time to start a new era.

Wow, I figured that I would get some banter from this crowd! I guess maybe the exhilaration of winning 6 games has put everybody in a great mood. Think about it for a minute..........ecstatic to win 6 games!
