Remember that point spreads are skewed because Husker fan will always bet on Nebraska, so they have to pump up the points. 18.5 is a lot for any team... we can cover, but after suffering through that game last year, I will never, ever overlook ISU.

the bet is not worth taking, at all. we could be up 21 in the first five minutes, bo would sit on it the rest of the three quarters, and isu could score in a td in the last three minutes. there goes your spread. it is not in the team's nature to run up the score, we sit on leads. i do not like it, but i guess it is part of bo's defensive-minded philosophy.
