Iowa Western Center Walks On: Josh Wegener

This is the most intriguing walk on. He should be considered in the 2019 recruiting class since he received  an academic scholarship — 4.0 GPA — and most likely would had received an athletic one under any other circumstance. One service rated him the number one Juco center! He makes up for the Desmond Bland lost.

Ntruiging indeed. Looking at his tape I'd say he definitely deserves a shot at some better competition. If nothing else he'll be a good guy to to nip at the heels of the fellas in front of him.

The thought is to slide Cam Jurgens into the C position also but with his history of injuries he may or may not be on the field long term.  I hope they can both stay healthy though and give us depth at that position.

Can't get a scholarship player out of Iowa Western.....so we go the walk-on route.
