I think the only guy close to 5 stars if he's not a 5 star is Jordan Bernstein.............I just loved how the local media talked the Cyclones and Hawkeyes up before the season even started and look at the years they are having!!! :clap

 
i called into soundoff the day after Nebraska pummeld ISU and keith and andy still were under the impression that ISU was the better team......

and we didn't go into this, but they were probably thinking something along the lines of ISU is better than Nebraska becuase they got ripped off on calls, Iowa beat ISU by more than Nebraska, Iowa is better than Nebraska....

Nebraska only beat Nicholls St. by 49, obviously Nicholls had a bad day, Nicholls is better than Nebraska......

Nicholls could beat Chadron St., who can beat Montana St., who can beat colorado, who is 10 TIMES BETTER THAN NEBRASKA

the ultimate low that we could reach..........

 
Im from iowa.

not really a fan tho..... i like the traditions and stuff but hey alot of colleges are going to have traditions.... nebraksa does have some cool ones tho.

 
Glenwood here so I'm just 20 minutes from downtown Omaha and the casinos for big-game atmospheres. Raised as a Husker fan by my dad and grandpa. NU alum and loyal fan. However (as many on here already know) I'm a realistic (sometimes the 'devils advocate) Husker fan on here that reminds everyone to take off the "Scarlet and Cream Glasses" and "Big Red Blinders" every once in awhile!!!!

Still - am and always will be in my husker shirt and hat on fall Saturdays.

 
Ankeny here...is anyone else sick of watching sound off on sunday nights and hearing nothing but ISU and Hawk fans complaining about how next year will be the year and all that stuff i mean its good to optimistic but how about winning a Big XII game first...or maybe not losing to Northwestern?

 
Good to see another Iowan on here!!!! Yeah I really get tired of sports soundoff sometimes!!!! I was laid up for about 10 weeks from shoulder surgery and I tried to call in their a few times just to try and set them straight on a few things, but couldn't get through!!! I love how ISU and Iowa are doing horrible this year and there was so much talk about these two teams from Keith Murphy and company at the beginning of the year..... :clap

 
Yeah ive tried calling in there too..just to try and talk about Andy Fales saying the only good thing about Memorial stadium is the pee troughs...hmmm 280+ straight sellouts? and the only way ISU can sell out is from all of us buying up tix...i think there's just a little more thats good about Memorial than the pee troughs

World leaders are discussing about having memorial stadium the 9th wonder of the world.

 
I will be stuck in Iowa City this weekend in a hotel, and need somewhere to watch the Huskers, as ABC isn't carrying it in that area...is there a sports bar somewhere that will carry it?

Or, even better....does anyone wanna have me over? I'll bring the beer/soda!

Downtown Iowa City where the college kids hang will have it for sure....There's not that many games on.....IC has a good downtown, not much help, but at least you'll see the game
