What did you guys talk about during the off season? How good we should be, how much better we are and how great our recruits are? Oh, and it's seems realistic to beat USC!

Just having some fun.

We actually talked about the defense a lot and how good or bad we thought Keller was going to be. It's nice that you found a friend. :lol:

 
As DaveH and HSKRNOKC noted, we always get a major influx of posters when things go bad.

It's understandable - when it happens, people want to vent. Simple as that. There is no denying the passion, and that passion has to have some way of being expressed.

Parenthetically, try being a Mod/Admin during those times - we try and read every post in every thread in every forum.

 
Heh . . . heh . . . I lurked for awhile, but actually JOINED after the Kansas game last season.

So I would qualify as one of those you're describing. :)

EDIT: *looks at join date* Oh, okay, I guess I joined before that. Looks like I joined a few days before USC. Never mind.

Recruiting mostly.

You can get to know other members pretty good during the offseason.There are some damned cool people here.

 
I joined up after some Oklahoma fan told me he was going to "punch a hole in me" at the Big XII CG last December.

I'm a lightning rod for hatred and conflict in real life, too, folks.

If you'd pull the stick out of your arse you may just realize it was a joke. 808 Husker at least used a 'thought.' Maybe I'm reaching on that. You made a statement. Granted, neither of you offered any insight (not that it mattered since you're both newer than I am on here), offering a "It's you." response is pointless. I asked because I haven't been on here long enough either to judge my question to others. That's why I asked in the way I did. I haven't seen enough posts from 808 Husker to know what he is all about. However, with you, it's pretty obvious. Peruse the topic, maybe understand it, maybe not, slam someone, bait, etc.

Jokes usually include a 'wink', 'smile', or a 'laugh' emoticon. Something like that. Probably a good thing if you don't do stand-up. Whether or not you're new to the internet is irrelevent, that wasn't what I asked.

Now...back to the "highly scientific study." ;) (That meant I was joking, by the way.)
