IS This Bad

Is it bad that i think it is funny that Sam Keller isnt getting any offers from pro teams?
I don't think it's either bad or good. I will say this much- it certainly wasn't surprising. His play at Nebraska was so-so, and he was certainly no better than Taylor who went undrafted. He was supposed to have a bazooka arm, but I never saw it. He wasn't terribly accurate or mobile either. He was middle of the pack in the Big XII and he had some personality issues. Quarterbacks like that don't get drafted.

I figured he'd get drafted late, kinda sucks for him. He'd have been better-off staying at ASU, he'd have gotten the job back from Carpenter fairly early in the season.

Keller didn't exactly wow them at the combine. And he got knocked around there for being "confident".

He seemed to run the 2-minute drill to perfection at NU. Of course, that's not the whole package.

SK may need a season or two in the Arena League before he gets another serious look.

Hopefully, he gets signed to a practice squad for an NFL team.

Sam played for NEBRASKA.

That should be enough for most of us to care.

He got me excited for football again after Pedey/Cally pretty much ruined all my hope.

I'm hoping free agency will allow him to sign with the right team.

I have to agree about the Zac Taylor comment. Zac was WAY better than Sam and he didn't get drafted either. Sam never really impressed me...I think it was the way he released the ball.

some of you guys make me wonder... Sam may not have been the best QB, but if anything he was a victim of too much hype. He can't control that. He was a solid player who said the right things and did the right things. He took responsibility for everything that went wrong on the field including a huge list of things he never had control about and he was the most well spoken people at any press conference including the millionaire coaches.

He played for NEBRASKA

He worked hard for NEBRASKA

He came here when and did his best to help out a NEBRASKA team

He did his job--take any defense from the mid 90's and put them with last year's team and we are talking BCS if not NC.

Topics like this make me wonder about "Nebraska fan"
