Nebraska has been using that motion quite a bit this year, I've noticed. Seems like I saw it last year some too.
I know the Jet motion is an old wrinkle, but I don't remember seeing it much until Wisconsin killed us with it in the 2012 Big Ten Championship game. Now, it seems like almost every game I watch one or both of the teams are using it some. And every time I see it I'm reminded of Melvin Gordon taking the handoff and running by our defense for huge gains. I wonder how much Wisconsin's success against us in that game influenced other OC's adopting its use.

You see stuff from other teams and incorporate it into your own offense. Any coach with half a brain would do so.
