Time for an update again. We've had some "special" ones doing their thing over the last few weeks and a handful who really went off the rails all because *gasp* Nebraska won a game *gasp* against MSU, something they did not want to see happen.

Are you still angry for me putting stats to prove your claim that football hurt the unv basically and I showed you if you read it that our FB program actually funds the Unv and not the opposite. You were sexist by saying JJ is a female for posting his ignore list. I decided to be sexist back by saying you should shave your pubic hairs to make fellatio less annoying for your girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband.
The football program does not fund the university. It funds the university's football program and some of the rest of the university's athletic department. No statistics I've ever seen have shown otherwise. Feel free to re-post them. It's possible I missed something. Everything I've seen shows that the football program is self sustaining. Nothing I've seen shows that it funds anything outside of the athletic department other than some help for businesses in Lincoln. It is not and should not be the chancellor's priority. Research should.

As of 2001 our football team was giving 1.5 Mil to our general fund that goes to teachers etc, as recent as 2011 it was 5 million...
However I dont care to argue with those who are willfully ignorant.

I had forgotten the details of that post because it was a week ago, and I didn't realize it was you making it. So no, I'm not still "angry," since I never was, and didn't know you were even part of that conversation. I just searched until I found it again to see what you were talking about.
The athletic department gave $1.5 million to the general fund. The general fund which has a total of $470 million - out of total funding which is $1.69 billion. Forgive me for still thinking that the chancellor's priority should not be athletics, seeing as $1.5 million is 0.08% of the total. Not 8%. 0.08%. We can say due to inflation and "stuff" that it was higher in 2007 than it was when the data you found was gathered. That still wouldn't make it more than one tenth of one percent of UNL's funding. A large part of the $355 million the university gets for "Designated Cash" and "Federal Funds" is due to research. Research is far, FAR more important than the football team, which was the only point I was trying to make in that topic -- I.E. Perlman has much more important things to be thinking about.

Why are you lumping all Nebraska teachers into one group? I'm pretty sure assistant professor salary starts off at $60,000 and full professor salary is $105,000. I believe all of their salaries are open to the public. It isn't something to be lumped in with elementary/high school teachers. That isn't to say there aren't problems. UNL (like most universities) tries as hard as they can to not give tenure to anyone, especially in art/language fields (basically anything not STEM), and non-tenured professors make a lot less.

You were being sexist regardless of whether that was your intent. "You must be female because you did this" might sound okay to you because it doesn't apply to you.
And as for the last part, I don't know what in the actual hell you're talking about. I don't think it's any worse or better if it's men you're into. I didn't want to assume it was women because I don't know.
