But I kinda agree, Ivy was someone I thought we needed. Still think academics were the problem.

Yes. They just haven't taken it off yet.

Sounds like grades. Was supposed to be working on that first semester. But (I'm assuming) when we got his final grades for first semester it wasn't good enough for whatever standard.

Not surprised that Tramel Ivy isn't visiting this weekend. From everything I heard he is no where close with his grades situation.
