JUCO LB Shaun Mohler

Mohler will have 3 years of on-field eligibility. He is either a 3-3 or 4-3 guy, I cannot really remember.

But Mohler's tapes are stellar. You see a guy actually willing to take on a block (McKeon could learn a thing there), the ability to get off block, a non-stop motor in pursuit and a LB who takes very good angles. Needless to say, his tapes make him look like a complete stud.

Mohler said Monday that the recent events at Nebraska — three straight losses to fall to 4-4 and the firing last week of athletic director Steve Pederson — have caused him to rethink his verbal commitment to become a Cornhusker next season.
Mohler said he has scheduled a visit to Colorado for Dec. 8 and plans to visit some unspecified Pac-10 schools as well, perhaps Oregon, Washington and UCLA.

Nebraska is still in the picture, Mohler said, but not if Interim Athletic Director Tom Osborne fires current coach Bill Callahan.

Not surprised recruits are looking but I think they need to see who we are going to bring in. Can you imagine a defensive recruit leaving and then having us bring in Bo Pelini! I hope Shaun as well as others make judgment after TO's decision on this.

We cannot let players dictate to our team who they want as a coach. See ya, if he has more respect for BC than T.O. more power to him.

Exactly. We really dont know who stays or goes. Another coach could come in and reaffirm the commitments. We just have to wait and see. As you pointed out Uno, we have to move forward as a program. Even if it costs us a few recruits.

He is now decommitted. Too bad...he may have been one our top recruits in my opinion. A position we needed badly in this recruiting class
