There are questions as to whether his offer is committable.  Still has work to do in the classroom.  

This is why, I think, teams are much more active in the transfer portal than JUCO.  You can find a great player at JUCO.  However, many of them have issues like grades or other off the field issues that put them there.  At least in the portal, you're talking to a kid who is currently qualified to be on the team.

Definitely higher top speed. I think his body looks more like Marvin Scott than Mills. He just happens to be a JUCO back.

Grant told the Journal Star recently that he's graduated from NMMI and cleared to join a program for the spring semester, meaning he'll likely be at Nebraska in short order and will join the team's winter conditioning program and be on campus for spring ball.

He should push for playing time immediately. One guy who I don’t believe has had a past injury list like some of the others.
