To which school will Manning commit?

Sounds good for Omar. He's going to pass one of his required classes. Then he has 2 more that'll finish up at the end of May. If he has a "hiccup" he'll still have June to correct anything.

Held has been checking up on him multiple times per week.
Having Held on the staff is so helpful when recruiting JUCO's.  As a former JUCO head coach, he has extensive experience of working with kids trying to get them eligible for the next level.  That has to work great with the players and the JUCO coaches during the recruiting process.

On track to qualify per his JUCO coach.  Got off to a slow start after leaving TCU but turned it around and is finishing strong.

I hadn't really looked at it like this but our Receiver room might be REALLY young.  If Spielman doesn't come back, Manning will be the oldest as a Junior.  Then Wan'Dale is a sophomore and all the rest of the current scholarship guys (though I expect Warner to get a scholarship) are true or redshirt freshman.

Time to step up.

Sounds like we are still looking for WR transfer.

As @Comish said, at this point I'd be pretty much shocked if he's back.

But Omar, Wan'Dale, Betts, Brown and Fleming should make for a good core group.
Fine by me. Perhaps it stings a little because of his experience and play making in the short term. But long term if a guy is not on board it hurts the culture. No reason in infect incoming guys with a bad attitude guy.
