it is just funny that the same people who claimed that we do not care what other people think of bo all of a sudden think it is good evidence.

and frankly, no one (reasonably) ever said bo is bad. i agree with polo that a lot of this seems forced. and none of it is evidence of anything other than bo is working on his public image. but a lot of it is fun. and i always thought bo was a good guy in private. it is just nice that he finally realized that his public image is just as important since he is, you know, the face of the program.

I just hope Bo is still the firey guy on the sidelines. I don't mind when he goes after refs, I would just prefer he not swing his hat at them or touch them. Sometimes yelling at the refs is needed and warranted. AKA Tim Miles!

Is it consistent to think this is forced but to also think that bo is a good guy? Maybe not.

Regardless, Ron Kellogg did an interview remarking on how it's not just a PR campaign and how Bo has really been an entirely different person since January. Just one person's first-hand informed opinion.

I stand by it. I could care less what a Bruin fan or a Bama fan really thinks if its completely untrue. If they hate Nebraska because they think our coach is the devil so be it. If they respect us but not our coach thats fine. If they like everything about us then awesome.

And my main point was that Bo is classy and Im not just talking the PR stuff.

certainly not when it is negative.

I remember a great many fans not giving two squirts of piss what people thought about us. Winning things tend to bring that feeling out.

And for the record there is no shortage of national write ups that wonder aloud why NU is putting up with Bo. That is not anecdotal.

There's also quite a few that have written that they like the guy...

That might be reading a bit much into an inoccuous figure of speech...
