Was it the words Environmental Justice that took you straight to "hilariously stupid?"  The links provide no story behind this particular grant, but "environmental justice" often refers to the habit of both government and private projects to locate their most toxic and disruptive elements in low-income areas, often with little or no public transparency or accountability because poor people are hilarious.

May not be your cup of tea, but it may not be the stupidest thing the government spends money on.

I do support a robust audit of everything.

This comment is always hilarious when I see it.   “Welllllll it was just a couple hundred grand or just a couple million and our budget is trillions”. Well FFS, if we don’t care about small dollar spending, then cut me a government check every year for whatever the minimum “it’s no big deal” amount since we don’t care.

No.  I’ve followed the account for a long time and thought others might enjoy seeing the dips#!tery we spend our government resources on.   This just happened to be the one I read today when I decided to go ahead and share.  This type of account probably isn’t for you.

Well, tbf, Democrat Utopia is where folks post stupid crap the Ds do...and Republican Utopia is where folks post stupid crap the Rs do...so (and I agree with you here) this seemed the spot for stupid crap that both sides do.

I think the happy news place is Better America of our Dreams...but that one is woefully underutilized.
