I've had enough of this dude (I know it would be different if I met him in person) so since he threw down the wager I went one better and put my posting rights on the line. Maybe this is out of line for a MOD but he threw it out there so I'm taking it. I can't stand when people talk out of both sides of their mouths (Flip Flopping drives me nuts) and when they predict that "their" team is going to get killed. I don't care if we are playing the freaking Cowboys I would never say we are going to lose.

Anyway I just figured you guys deserved a heads up.

Whoa! Let's reconsider here. First, we really can't afford to lose you as a Mod. Second, you're right - if you met Bob, you'd like the guy. I personally think he feels so burned by Callahan - he defended him almost to the end - that he can't help but be reluctant to jump in with both feet on the team at this time.

I don't want to see either of you suspend your posting, regardless of Mod status (and bear in mind, giving him your username and password gives him the same Mod powers you have).

How about this? Let me PM both of you asking that I be allowed to call the bet off. If you both agree, I can then post in that thread explaining that I'm cancelling the bet because the Board appreciates what both of you bring, and that we don't want to see anyone penalized due to their love the Huskers. Everyone comes out of it fine - you both have proved what you're willing to do to support your views. If necessary, use the Ignore function on him - there are enough of us to check his posts.

How 'bout it? I'm serious - I don't want to see either of you leave - you both bring a lot to the Board.

 
I hopefully find out tomorrow if I'm going down for the game so I may just have to meet him in person because what everyone has said he is a pretty stand up dude.
