Kenny Bell turning heads in practice

And as much as we need some WRs to step up, we'll definitely need solid production from our TEs, even more so than what we've seen this year.
Wouldn't you say this is more a product of having a project QB throwing passes than the TEs not stepping up? With Taylor learning on the job our passing game was always going to take a hit. I thought Kyler Reed had a fine season, honestly.
Yes, you're right. Reed had a fantastic season, and Cotton wasn't too bad either. I guess I was trying to say we need to continue to depend on our TEs in the passing game. They've already stepped up in a big way for us, and they'll need to keep that going next year because our WR corps won't be as strong as it's been this year (strong might not be the right word, but you get it).

I think BW said once or twice that Curenski actually has great hands. He messed up one or two chances early on and kept getting the hook after that. I think Gilmore is keeping him off the field more than anything, but not sure.

We need some receivers who can fly...very encouraging to hear, EZ!
If that's true it won't matter if we have the second comings of Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson on the practice squad, because they'll never see the field... for whatever reason. This frustrates me so much.
maybe gilmore just can't coach the kids up...... :dunno

Quick, fire Gilmore before he ruins yet another kid's chance! Just imagine what could have been/could be if some of these guys had a WR Coach that could DEVELOP talent

Dunno if anyone remembers the thread, but Kenny Bell was my prediction for the first member of the 2010 class to score a touchdown (on a kick or punt return). I was blown away by his speed on film. He can't get on the field soon enough for me.
