Changed "buttplug" to "bugeater" in this post: LINK Don't mean to be heavy handed, but come on. Buttplug? It's an appreciation thread. (Also, this is not worthy of a reprimand, I'd say. Just not in very good taste.)

Question: Any reason I should mention this to Walks? I wasn't planning on mentioning it unless he makes a fuss over it.

I'd recommend you simply PM him, tell him that while you know it was in good fun that you changed it so that other folks that may have an agenda don't try and push the edge of the envelope. Something like that.

It's probly best for Knapp not to refer to the Mod forum, which I believe is what he's talking about with this comment. Sure, most posters realize this forum is here. But still...

Anyway, I made a comment on Knapp's status that made it sound like he was referring to posters, not hidden forums.

btw, Is anyone in communication with Knapp--you know, since his PM folder is clogged up for the time being?

 
We've been kinda open with members that we have a "Mods & Admins Only" section that they can't see, so no harm done.

No, haven't had any conversations with him since his PM the day he left.

I reached out to knapp as soon as Eric announced his resignation. He and I had come on at the same time and we'd been through a lot over the years in shared experiences...anyway, he thanked me and reciprocated some nice words, and wanted to pass along the assurance that he would always act honorably towards HB.

I think after the initial shock, it's settled back down for me. I do wish him well there if that's what he wants to do, and it's cool that he got to have such a nice send off here.

We're on to 2015.

I originally had it set to expire on Sunday or Monday anyway -- but you know, I was thinking it might be time already, now that there's a second announcement up there too.
