This would be a solid pick up. Hopefully, coaches start push more for this guy.Says our facilities are the best he's seen. Says the schools at the top of his list right now are Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon State and Nebraska. Going to the Whorns spring game as well.
Well, the Beavers facilities aren't anything special. Nice but not on par with NU's. I would say OU and Nebraska have pretty similar facilities. I think Texas may be a little nicer.Says our facilities are the best he's seen. Says the schools at the top of his list right now are Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon State and Nebraska. Says we're recruiting him pretty hard and he'll probably be back for another visit - either this summer or an OV in the fall.
The schools he likes the most right now are us, Texas, Oklahoma and Oregon State (no order).
MISSOURI CITY, Texas - Four-star linebacker Cameron Townsend admits that he's leaning Texas for now but said Nebraska and assistant Ross Els are making a strong push.
Townsend attended Nebraska's Red-White game in April and he came away impressed by the facilities and the program. After talking with some signees and commits, Townsend said Nebraska is on the short list for an official visit so he can see a big game atmosphere.
Nebraska has Townsend high on its linebacker board and see him as a WILL linebacker. Despite a groin injury, schools are coming in droves to see Townsend. He's missed most of the spring but plans to be back for 7-on-7.
Townsend is ranked No. 240 in the 2015 class.
