Actually i hope he does the right thing first and calls up UCLA and decommits before announcing any commitment to us. Many kids get into recruiting and dont think actions have consequences. Need to show you know how to do the right thing.

Agreed but I'm impatient and I feel this guy gives us an opening to more

 
I had him listed as an ATH at first - he's a DE/LB hybrid type guy.

Looking at him, I just think he looks like he'd be a really big LB so I thought he'd probably grow into a DE. But I guess we are recruiting him as a LB for now so I'll change it to that.

 
I always find it interesting when this happens. Glad we are looking like on the good side of this for a change.

HIs 247 profile shows him as a "Hard commit" to UCLA.

However, 100% of the CBs are to Nebraska.

Judging by his twitter profile, he looks far from a ucla commit. He just needs to make it official.

 
Could be a smoke-screen, but I'm backing off on a N commitment for Rahyme for now. Just had a video/article on Scout talking about how he still feels pretty solid with his commitment to UCLA.

I think he could still definitely be N in the end, but I don't know how soon that could happen.

I repeat, this could be a smoke-screen though.

I saw that too. My confidence kind of took a huge step back after reading that. I for sure thought we were at least level with UCLA. But he made it sound like he's completely solid. The only other thing we can do is get him for an official visit.

Disagree, anyone who pays for an unofficial visit is legitimately interested. You don't just drop $700+ because you want attention. Also this kid really loves Bray.

Is anybody else bothered by his actions last fall with he Icy Hot? As good a player as he looks to be on tape, that incident really sticks in my craw.

I can't get it out of my mind. Im sure those coaches are digging down deep on it and can better gauge his state of mind, but it sends up an alarm to me. I've been surprised that it hasn't shown up i any of the discussions here or elsewhere.
