Little Red Dots

This is prolly a dumb question but I can't seem to find the answer elsewhere.

I recently got a little read dot under my Avatar. What does it indicate? What did I get it for? I see some people have lots of them, what are they based on? Number of posts, +1s?

 
What is the difference between the poster category "Members" and "Members2"?

Members2 are a select, chosen race of people destined to rule all.

 
Members2 is simply a designation that is used by us for the Newletter. By law, we have to offer an opt-out option to it. When people ask to opt out, we put them in the Members2 status so they don't get it. Otherwise, it's the same as Members.
