I just hope they give smothers an opportunity to run the offense and not some vanilla hand off 2 times up the middle for 2 yards and then a QB draw for a punt 50% of our possessions.

Scott's coaching tenure is on the ropes and he knows it.  I think to get a chance to be successful next year, wholesale offensive changes needed to happen.  Lubick wasn't a glaring underperformer like others, but I'm not sure he was completely dialed in to this job. Maybe it won't work, but they need to try to get a spark on O, IMO.

I can't be mad at Smothers especially given the circumstances (First start with hardly any pt up until this point, terrible o line play, another game with sketchy play calling, etc.)  Finished 16-22 for 199 yards.  9.0 avg and also ran for 70 yards including a 24 yarder against the #12 ranked defense.  Had the 1 pick but it looked like the WR cut his route short.  Also had the fumble but that was less concerning to me after watching the play.  Thought he did the most with a pretty tough situation.
