I signed up for the "Kevin Cosgrove" luxury box...one of the special features of the box is that it has no doors and people can run right through it without being touched....

I want the Steve Pederson luxury box. Buy it and make sure everything is running smoothly for a while than leave for a few years, come back and try to blow the whole thing up and start over MY WAY.

 
ISU is being smart about it... more seats means more teams can travel to see their teams play - Ames isnt too far from UN-L, Kansas, Mizzou, KState and Iowa are all less than 5 hours away...

not saying UK, Mizzou and KState travel as well as Iowa and Nebraska, but opportunity none the less to fill the seats once the initial excitement of a "new stadium" wears off and the seats are empty, once again.

just a thought...

 
True,but than at what point does allowing even more opposing fans to cheer against your team at HOME counterproductive to the product on the field? You need to at least come close to being able to put your own fans in the seats you already have before you build more.

ISU is doing what they can to strike up some interest in their program (ie season tix sales, stadium updates, etc.). I find it entertaining that us spoiled Husker fans sit here and rip on them for doing what they can. Pretty sad for "the best fans in college football". Just my thoughts tho.......... :rant
