Making Chimichangas

I also agree on the posting limit. Spamming the status updates can be irritating and I don't like the idea that it's pushing potentially better content below the fold. If somebody did this with threads, we'd end up merging them into one or just deleting them. I feel a similar approach is appropriate to the status updates in particular once the season rolls around and the #HotTakes start flowing.

 
I had to issue a warning tonight for @Making Chimichangas for the below post.





I've started with a 7-day suspension, but, does that seem fair? They have a bit of a history and have taken much longer suspensions for issues in the past. This is their fourth warning and it was a particularly egregious one.

Without question: Making knows better than to post something like this.

Man, what's in the water today?  We had very little for quite awhile and now....

Anyway, I think what you did was fine.  MC has racked up a few warnings but they've been spread over some amount of time so I think it's fine.  Definitely needed a suspension and I think a week is fine this time.  Gets back for the first game but knows things better change.

Yeah, she's definitely been close a few times, but that definitely crossed the line. Since this was her first warning in a while, I'm fine with the length of the suspension. I think football season needs to get here already!

 
These two posts from @Making Chimichangas were reported by an anonymous "Guest" member. It was raised that these posts either imply harm to self or harm to another. I would tend to agree. It looks like Mavric went ahead and removed these posts and banned Making Chimichangas. I agree with that decision completely and wanted to post everything here as a record.

These were also not the first time this member made veiled threats to government officials and was suspended for 30 days the last time.

I've banned the account.  That account has been suspended multiple times for personal attacks and was also previously suspended for 30 days for a post about executing members of the government.

On a side note, I find it interesting that a post calling a group of people "wacos" draws a report from some of our members but posts like this only get a report from an anonymous guest.

 
MC did a good job on the main board, but sadly, the politics board claims another. The place is a cesspool.
