I agree. I'm not a fan of Lemon either. But, since I usually don't watch these types of shows, I don't know who Brian Stelter is.Interested to see who they replace him with. Hopefully someone in the middle. I bet Don Lemon is next.
Brian Stelter out at CNN as network cancels media show 'Reliable Sources' (msn.com)
Never watched him much, but he seemed ok. Leaned to the left, but was too heavily into telling you what you should think for my taste.I agree. I'm not a fan of Lemon either. But, since I usually don't watch these types of shows, I don't know who Brian Stelter is.
Gotta admire what CNN is doing if they do it correctly. I think there is a big market for a news org that truly is down the middle and presents news instead of all the commentary geared towards just one side of the discussion. Good luck to them and o hope they are rewarded with increased viewership!
I agree. The current setups of cable “news” are why I don’t watch any of them. Political bias on such a large and accessible platform promotes vitriol and hate, among other things which are bad for the country. Commentators are fine, but for every Hannity on a network there should also be a Maddow. One can dream…..Gotta admire what CNN is doing if they do it correctly. I think there is a big market for a news org that truly is down the middle and presents news instead of all the commentary geared towards just one side of the discussion. I'm going to disagree with the bolded.Gotta admire what CNN is doing if they do it correctly. This is true.I'm going to disagree with the bolded.
The mainstream of America that would actually appreciate "true down the middle" doesn't watch much news. All of these Fox and MSNBC viewers aren't "down the middle". They are already strongly partisan (most likely).
The "down the middle" folks are watching primetime TV, sports, The Bachelor, etc.. Primetime "news" is for people seeking conformation of their opinions. "Normal" people are watching everything except news.
