Members2 - what is this? Also, SuperMods

What is this? I've noticed that most members are in the "Members" group, and some are "Members2." What's the difference?

Also, how does one become a "SuperMod?" Does this take donations, begging, what? So far nobody is in this category.

I'm finding these tags in the Member List, where I usually go to search new members to find spammers.

 
I think Members2 is an opt-out group from the email newsletter sent out during the season. I am not too sure because I can't remember actually seeing any requests to be put in this group, ever, and a forum search doesn't yield any information on it either. Functionally are they supposed to be the same?

Also, we obviously aren't Super enough! :)

Yeah, Members2 is the same as Members, but Members2 don't receive any newsletters that Chad sends out a day or two before games. Those newletters have an opt-out option - they reply and simply enter "Remove" in the body of the message, and I set them to Members2.

The SuperMod - that's always been around. I think Chad set that up long ago to give some more "powers". But the funny thing is that when you look at the powers of the SuperMods, they're actually far less than the Mods group. Right now, other than accessing the Control Panel, the Mods pretty much have the same powers at the Admins.
