Nebraska was great back in the day because Osbourne had every highschool in Nebraska running his playbook. he recruited heavy in Nebraska and by the time they got to Lincoln many of them had been running his playbook since 7th grade. Nebraska aint going to get recruits, and her  resurgence has to begin with the state of Nebraska doing the same thing it used and produce underdogs who perform then the recruits come. Nebraska needs a coach who can do this and the fans have to realize it is going to take some time to get the state producing that kind of football player.
