It's fun how a bunch of things that people insisted on blaming on previous coaches are still more than an issue under new coaches.
I think most have blamed staff AND talent.  Matbe Rhule should have used his Mulligan year and pulled a Prime....Fix the staff with the new hore and new hire flips the roster.  It's a business now.  Treat it like one.  Also had the largest assistant pool for new hires and look what we got......

It starts with the state of Nebraska and it's high school football. That is the only way Nebraska becomes relevant and maybe some of the surrounding states. Osborne had every high school running his plays in Nebraska, it is going to take that type of state wide dedication to produce football players who play great as a team
What’s the play when we keep coaches for about 3 years? Every HS in the state adjusts accordingly?

That’s not the answer. Rhule grabbed sub par coaching talent with an open checkbook. We’re seeing years of under-developed kids playing right now. And Rhule should doubly be scrutinized as he hand-picked Sims who is a compete dud.  We now have a QB that is all-American D3 talent trying to win games while “talented” Freshman sit on the bench watching this mess.

It’s almost as if the players out there are the same crappy ones from the previous staff

We still commit killer penalties, our OL is trash, and our team is the most undisciplined team in FBS. Nothing has been fixed and against real competition, we get humiliated. Tell me one thing has changed in the past decade. At least players played hard for Pelini.
