Mods consider this a favor

This is how I feel coming back from my three day ban.
pfft, 3 days?? b!^@h please... week plus here...
Welcome back. Being banned is like going to jail. Your board cred just went up
You know, I was thinkin' the same thing.. we should have avatars for the bottom, with some sick prison tats or something...
Instead of "teardrops" you can get some "+1" tats under your eye.

I considered doing the same thing a little while back but instead just decided to go on a small hiatus of sorts. Don't worry the new posters will wash out and once people ignore them they go away. Don't go for good, the board needs people like you, if anything just take a break!

What sucks about this is the feeling that the long time posters feel that they need to go on hiatus. It sucks because they are here ALL year long, waiting for the season and this sh#t happens.
Agreed, hence the crackdown on derp lately. Hopefully the board has been readable these last couple of weeks. The true test will be after a loss, when people want to vent. That's when these people who have had accounts for five years but less than 100 posts come out of the woodwork. They make their bitching thread, irrationally call for heads, and aren't heard from again until the next loss or bad game. That's who we're targeting, and we won't see how effective it is until it hits the fan with the team again.

I give kudos to the mods for job theyve done the last couple weeks. Even during and after the Northwester game, there were some spotty derps, but overall, it was not overrun as it was after and the week(s) following the Ohio St game. After the Michigan game, it seemed to be business as usual. It's nice. I'd say things are close enough to normal again. Thank You.
