Mohamed Barry

Out of all of Scott's amazing attributes that make him the best coach in the country we could possibly have right now, this one might be at the top of the list: Using NU's storied tradition as the backbone of the program.

Callahan had no interest in doing it. Bo resented the tradition and the pressure/expectations it brought. Riley definitely tried to leverage it but it wasn't authentic without the ties to it himself.

Mo is going to now know what it feels like to win games at Nebraska this season. His confidence and attitude are so awesome.

Barry is an incredible leader. Everything he says to the team, to the media, and to fans has everything “Husker” and “Leader” embodied into it. I feel we are lucky to go through this transition period with him in his Jr and Sr year, helping out the others. We are nowhere near where we want to be yet, but I can only imagine how much closer we will be than we would be without Barry.
