Suspended Moiraine for two weeks for the following personal attacks.

We know more about what Ozigbo brings to the table and he is a "decent back" according to you.
Mikale Wilbon's 2015 stats (after a quick google search): 9 attempts for 35 yards
Yet, if Wilbon isn't our starter in 2016 you won't be excited? Mmkay.....
Let it go dude. People have different opinions than you do. It's going to be o.k...
Ironic advice
Lulz. Someone got their panties in a wad when someone expressed an opinion that they didn't like. You won't find me upset about the state of Nebraska football or even by just reading someone's opinion that maybe doesn't jive with mine. I can't say the same for others however...
You are acting like a moron.
Classy. State an opinion that isn't popular on here. Simply saying I wasn't stoked by Newby and Ozigbo. Then sit back and watch people lose it. Classic HB sometimes smh.
The responses have nothing to do with your opinion on the best RB. They have to do with you saying you won't be excited about the season if your baby isn't #1 on the depth chart, even though that means he didn't do enough to separate himself from the others. Then you'll just conclude that the coaches are wrong even though they've seen him play many, many hours more than you have.

It's moronic. As is your conclusion that people are upset you have an opinion.

I find it ridiculous that people here can be complete a$$hole$ as long as they skirt around one arbitrary rule and they're continued to be allowed to be a$$hole$ for an infinite amount of time with no repercussions.

I also find it ridiculous that 2 warnings in 5 years is considered a lot.

She can leave if she likes, I doubt most will really care as she's been very argumentative with everyone for awhile now. If you don't agree with her, you're an a-hole in her mind.

I don't know what her problem is, other than she seems to be someone who is easily baited and overly sensitive. She seems to find offense even when it's not intended. Yes, teachercd is deliberately provocative - I suspect he's really some high school kid that likes needling people for attention - but for crying out loud; be an adult and ignore him.

I think the next offense she needs to go. She's been warned (and should probably have been warned far more often over the years, I'd guess). It's her call at this point as to what happens to her status with us.

Here's our "conversation":

Your response to teachercd was out of line. You can respond in a more constructive manner or you can ignore him.
There's a 3rd choice.
There are probably more than that.

But those are the two that will work out best for you.
That's very debatable. It's not necessarily "best" for me to read or post at all here.
I think she crossed a line both with her response to teach then to you, Mav. It is probably too far past the originally post now to penalize her, so I agree with AR, she should have a short leash for a while.

Eh, I don't think anything she said to me was out of line. Just a little worked up.

But she probably did deserve a bit more for the personal attack but I thought I'd go with a PM instead this time. She doesn't care for what I think is allowed and what isn't so I figured she'd just think I was picking on her.

Mavric, I agree members have the right to disagree with mods, in general. However, when the conversation is apart of reprimand for violating board rules, it is on the member to concede to their mistake rather than double-down on their position. Ultimately, your approach seemed to be effective, as AR noted. My perspective is that, at the time, she showed not remorse and received no repercussions for her actions. Glad to see that she has changed her tone, even if it is after the fact.

Well, bans and suspensions aren't always the most effective way of dealing with everyone. And, there's sometimes a reason to double-down on a position that goes against board rules; rules need to be simultaneously stable and fluid. I don't think banning or suspending Moiraine is the right move as she's made it clear that she doesn't care if she gets suspended or banned. But I do think she needs to be closely monitored.

Regarding teach, I'm with AR: I don't think he's a high school kid, I think he's a guy who likes the attention and does anything to capture that attention. At points that seems to directly contradict the rules (i.e., flaming), and can be particularly bothersome during football season when tensions run higher.
