i totally agree about the announcers:
while the game was a shoot-out and the color analyst could spooge all over the Pokes he was calling every play with enthusiasm and
fervor. then the Huskers started pulling away and he barely said 2 words. He obviously was enamoured with them and not us.
my wife came to the bar we were watching the game at at halftime and after we took a good lead, they showed that jacka$$ and my wife said, "man, that guy looks tired and bored. is he the announcer?"
we all laughed cuz we were complaining about him and his 'illegal' hit comment and his lack of excitment OSU wasn't winning anymore

I have to agree with your assessment about the D-Line. Perhaps I am in the minority when I say that I had questions on how good Crick actually was before the season. I think what we see is how freakishly dominant Suh was. It's good to nut up and take the crow once in a while, Willie. It doesn't taste all that bad if you don't have it that often.
Don't get to high on Watson's britches yet, Oklahoma States defense is absolutely atrocious (like always under Van Gundy)
The cowpokes give up an average of 30 points a game, courtesy of Nebraska and the following chumps: Wazzu, Troy, Tulsa, UL-Laffyette, A&M, TTU. TTU or A&M are the best of this bunch, and both of them are mediocre this year. Sure, Nebraska did the job, but it isn't like Shawn Watson was calling plays against a stingy (or even top 50) defense.

Taylor has an issue with trying to make a play where there's nothing and subsequently making things worse. It's "Brett Favre Syndrome". He wants so bad to succeed he takes seriously unnecessary risks in order to avoid a negative play. But I'll be damned if he didn't lay the ball in there perfectly on some of those passes. The ones to Reed (TD) and Paul (drop) were things of freakin beauty. You could see him gain confidence throughout the game and I was impressed as hell. I also gotta give Watson props for not calling zone read every other play. Call a pass, give Taylor some space, and if there's nothing to throw to, get 7-10 yards on the ground. Taylor also took a couple good shots without fumbling which I liked.

Prince looked like he made a couple good plays on Blackmon in the beginning...and then he got flat owned. If I remember, there was also a PI against Texas where he was beat and had to interfere on the receiver. These seem to be uncharacteristic mistakes, so I hope he fixes that soon. I know some are saying safety help, but didn't Bo say he should have had a safety over the top, rather than saying that he did? It should be Prince Island. If we wants to be the man, he needs to be good enough to be left on an island...goodness knows we need our safeties elsewhere.
If the playcall is designed to have safety help, then Prince is going to cover differently compared to when the call doesn't include safety help. You can't expect him to anticipate the safety blowing his assignment.

What I mean is, on that particular play, I thought Bo said he (Bo) should have called for a safety over the top, but didn't.
Oh. I think Bo said Prince thought he had safety help, but Bo had just told his safeties they need to get up faster on running plays. So, partially because of Bo's advice, the safeties bit hard on the flea-flicker, and Prince was hung out to dry on a play where he should have had safety help... I could be wrong though.
