My buddy is on the preorder list for this case and once I see this case in person and if I like it then I'll probably get one.

 
I've got an Otterbox which looks similar. It makes the phone a real tank . . . but man does it make it bulky. Is lifeproof any thinner?

No other complaints about the Otterbox by the way. It's been great . . . it just makes the phone large.

I guess the LifeProof is a lot thinner and it shows on the videos and pictures I've seen. They say that this is one of the thinnest iPhone cases and has pass a ton of military waterproof test so that stuck out with both my buddy and I.

 
That's pretty impressive. At first I wasn't sure if it completely encased the phone (screen and all) until I saw her cover it in ketchup and dunk it in the pop. How does it cover the phone in such a manner and still allow full touch-screen functionality?
