I find the only way to have a chance for a stop is to pray for a sack or loss on first down. I send a big pressure package nearly very first down. If you can get them into second or third and long you are good as you can let them catch in front of you and then bring them down.

DT have lost much of their effectiveness and has gone back to DE like the early games. Papuchis is a Low job security right now in my dynasty and a C- prestige while Beck is an A. I am 118th in the country in total defense but 44th in scoring D.

How ridiculously effective is the zone read in this game? Wow!

I'm just starting to get fed up with getting sacks on first and second down and their QB throwing a perfect pass as he's getting hit to convert the third and 14-20. It only gets worse in the second half. I've had QBs not miss a single pass during the second halves of games.

I hear that! I look at completions stats through the first half and it's not uncommon to see 7/7 or 11/11 and final results being only 3 or 4 misses which come from throw aways. There is really no answer other than playing as DE and hopping you get their in time and that he isn't mobile. And sometimes I do get there and when I go to make the tackle my guy attempts to tackle air even though the QB hasn't juked or made a move, that's frustrating as hell!

I thought I was just pushing the hit stick the wrong way, because I caught myself doing it one time, but even when you use the button it happens.

I know it's a broken record but EA Tiburon is so disappointing, any other developer would have had at least two patches out by now. The face masks should have been fixed before the damn game when out, and all the defensive issues defiantly shouldn't be taking 2 months.

I thought I was just pushing the hit stick the wrong way, because I caught myself doing it one time, but even when you use the button it happens.

The face masks I don't really notice, and I deal with the defensive issues (mainly by screaming in rage at the tv trying not to throw my controller through it). What kills me is winning a game (either a blowout or a close win against a tough team) and having the game lock my system up requiring me to play the same team again.

That's better than having to barely edge out an FCS team, because for some ungodly reason they can cover like white on rice and stop any run you throw at them. Oh and their QB can run like Vince Young.

Gotta watch out for that Cinderella FCS Midwest team. I think I won 28-14 my first season then started replacing it with an fbs school since I could (Oklahoma every year!)

Anybody else get the no huddle glitch where you call the play then try to audible and all your buttons become useless except for TO and pause? It's happened to me 3 or 4 times already.

Idk why but the FCS MW team is always good and every time I sim I barely beat them with florida
