NCAA in "Deep Discussion" to Implement Revenue Sharing with Athletes

What makes you think they wouldn't?
The SEC commissioner publication stating that perhaps they should leave the governance of the NCAA, is one reason.

Plus I’ve talked with two coaches from two D1 schools who have stated their disdain for the proposal  is it coach speak? Maybe, but not sure why they would be so adamant.

I think you are talking comments about one thing and trying to apply them to something else.

Two coaches is a long way from a majority. Let alone if those coaches are even speaking for their own university.

Perhaps. The settlement is very convoluted and then there’s CFB discussions going on as at the same time. At lot of posturing by commissioners to look out for their own interests

what I do know is that my son was asked to wait to sign until after the April 8th judges approval on the settlement.  They were very pretty positive that it would not pass.  We chose to sign with a great JUCO program, thinking there was just too much unknown and we’d rather not be left trying to find a program in April.

Now, grandfathering in these kids might be part of the settlement. We’re happy with our decision, but I am curious how it’s going to turn out.
