Nebraska Adds Former 4* WR As Walk-On

Bounced around but the kid has some solid talent. Was going to start at Michigan but decided to transfer to Iowa and barely got PT which baffled a lot of Iowa fans last year. He caught 150 passes and hauled in 30 receiving TDs his JR/SR seasons in high school in 4A (highest class in Iowa).

I see this as good depth.  He's gone through two coaching staffs and two systems and never really broke through as a regular starter.  He has played in 21 games though.  Good experience to add to the room.  If this system all of a sudden is perfect for him and he shines...great.

Certainly won’t hurt the room next year to have Falck, Martin, & Warner pushing the scholarship guys for playing time.

This kind of floated under the radar. If this is legit and he's eligible it's sort of a game-changer in my opinion.

You've got to think he's smart enough, graduating in 3 years with a transfer thrown in isn't easy.

 The Huskers did announce good news on Monday though. Frost shared that Oliver Martin, the transfer from Iowa, has been declared eligible to play.

“We’ll start letting him compete for some time,” Frost said. “He’s a talented kid. We’re glad to have him. He just hasn’t gotten a lot of reps because he wasn’t eligible.”

I don't know if he's athletic, quick, fast, and can burst off the LOS.  I don't know if if he can get open in space or has great hands.  I don't know if he wants the ball or is a play maker. 

I just hope he can block...
