Very impressed with our opener tonight! The T-Rex tandem is electrifying! The Defense bent at times, but never really broke-something that is nice to see in the first game of the year. After we get some more reps in next week, I think our defense will be stiffen up- just like it did last year. Not a lot shown on either sides of the ball playbook wise, yet we still made some VERY big plays.

Good teams beat the BAD teams BAD, and that is what we did tonight. Great game boys- lets go.

Good teams beat the Utah States and Rices BAD! Oh wait, maybe they don't. :rollin There is a lot to work on obviously, but Nebraska fans should be glad that they have the staff to polish things after the game and make the team better. It was the first game.

And how good is it to have a good coaching staff to see things to fix after a blowout rather than a loss?

 
Ill take a 39 point lead in a cobweb game( for those of you who don't know what it means, its what it sounds like a game where a team can shake the cobwebs out and get focused.)
