Nebraska vs. KSU *Time changes*

Nebraska loses 5-3...

Swept at home for the first time since 1997.

I don't even know what to say anymore... :( Except that Hauptman was dynamite after that 1st inning.. bats couldn't pick him up though.

And actually, huskerswrkhavoc... Texas comes to Lincoln. :)

EDIT: Almost forgot... Sole possession of last place in the Big XII... Time to go drown soom sorrows...

yea i have no idea where i was pulling that out... i think i was thinking of the A&M series... UT is here this weekend... a series we can win.. because of why i said...

And to NC949597... I can't say Abeita wouldn't help. I can say that he is not the difference between this year and last year... It's pitching depth and experience.. They are young.. Honestly? I wouldn't mind seeing Bailey fade off and Belfonte not quite figure it out this year... What's it going to hurt if they fall too far in the draft that they need to come back? If we get some pitching and start winning some games, obviously i'm not rooting against these guys because i really want them to succeed, but i really just don't see it happening after this past weekend... Should KSU come in here and sweep? no.. but at that same time, OSU should have won that series with us, and maybe, OU should of swept us there... if we get 2 of 3 from texas, you could say we're right where we should be record wise, or 1 game back. TT and OSU flipped... OU 1 more loss, KSU wins... we'll see what happens... And what you said about them only scoring 1 run against creighton... yes, that is true, BUT midweek games are completely different monsters than a weekend series.. i think i've said this here before, maybe not... but a lot of times you're playing your younger kids trying to get them PT and experience... while some mid-major schools play their better players trying to get RPI building wins....
