Started 5-10 on threes.  Then we apparently thought we were going to make them all, started jacking everything and are 0-13 since.

Glad all the changes we worked on all week lasted 10 minutes.

 
It just seems we have a group of players that can’t/won’t play defense. Are now finding out that other teams do play defense and contest shots every play. I’m betting most of our players played AAU ball. Our players refuse to learn what other teams players have. That has to be laid at the feet of Hoiberg. Maybe his stint as an NBA coach ruined him for college coaching. I’m befuddled, perplexed and verklempt!

Eh, I actually thought our defense was pretty good today.  Other than Andre insisting on karate chopping everything.

We held them under their season average, got 12 steals and only gave up 10 offensive rebounds to a team with a 7-footer.

 
I love McGowens (and Keisei) but beyond that this is a hard team to watch play basketball.

I only got to see the last ten minutes of the second half. My observation was based on what I have seen in past games. Usually a step slow and allowing the other teams to get to the rim.

 
I've said it before & I will keep saying it.  They need a fu**in* point guard who want to get others involved.  In the first 12 minutes when they played in their new style they looked really good.  Everytime they reverted to their old ways they looked like $#!+.

I believe that would have been Tre.  With him injured, who could take that roll?  Obviously Verge isn't getting it done.

Based on who was playing before Trey got hurt, it was Verge and then Trey sliding over from the 2 to the 1 when Verge was on the bench with Webster as the 3rd option and maybe Bryce somewhere in the mix too.

I would love to see Fred try playing some major minutes with Verge on the bench and see how the team works.

Obviously, what they have been doing doesn't.
