Sorry if already covered- today's game had a Chic Fil A component. If the opposing team missed two consecutive free-throws - everyone would have received a free sandwich. People were on their feet going crazy at the thought of having a freebie. Chants of Chic-fil- A were ringing out like ht good ole free Runza for 80 or 100 points.
I pictured Jackie Moon's corndog giveaway in Semi-Pro. Amazingly- if the Huskers missed two consecutive free-throws all of California would get a sandwich too or maybe not

We should have gotten the free sandwiches. UCLA missed the freethrow on an and 1 then missed the next freethrow they took. The way the rules were explained to the crowd was miss two in a row. There was nothing about it having to be during the same trip to the line.

It feels so good to have a basketball program to be proud of and get excited to watch the games now. Not just a football school anymore. Not for me anyway.

West coast teams are good, but not sure they will be ready for the Big 10 grind. Took Hoiberg 3 years to reform his team.
