Need Droid X help

I just got my Droid X today and this is my first smartphone. I'm still trying to figure it out and don't know what the widgets are and knowing when the apps are not in use. I've heard about Advanced Task Killer but heard that after the 2.2 version that the Advanced Task Killer was draining the battery worse than before. Anybody have a Droid X that can explain any useful advice would be awesome.

Any awesome Husker apps. I saw one Husker app for $2.99 about news, articles, recruits, etc...not sure if its a good one or not. A guy that I know downloading an Irish app that came with podcast and other news, maybe thats the same app as this $2.99 Husker app?

Just saw this thread, I've had good luck with advacne task killer (I'm running 2.1), but if you don't like it there are lots of task killer apps.

for husker apps found two good free ones flyp nebraska corn husekrs one one simply called Nebraska Huskers
