New Display Case Idea

So this idea wasn't thought of by me. I was talking Saturday with a random Husker fan at the local Jimmy's Eggs. We were discussing the game, sharing our expectations and then began talking about all the recruits attending. This is when the guy mentioned that he thought a possible awesome way to improve our brand was to create a wall (display case) of players high school helmets with a running tally above each helmet. Maybe not the actual helmet but a replica of the helmets on a hallway wall that recruits walk past. Something that displays a sense of prestige and promotes high school programs. 

Curious how others feel as I am on the fence.

Seems like that would be a great way to catch recruits' eye.  Seeing their high school helmet - or even a local rival - would seem to stand out.

Only issue would be the number of them getting unwieldy.

Maybe rather than all of the past school helmets, they could cut down on the number by having the helmets of just the current roster players. They could see all of the current high schools represented by the team.

I'm kind of surprised by the two responses. When he mentioned it i was like bla blah blah (didn't think it had any legs) but reading Mav's and Scoops opinion's has me wondering if this guy was on to something. I do like the idea @NsideScoop posted.. Make it a yearly change of current members. Would recruits really even notice the wall?
